Windrush Valley Prep School – Successes and Accolades

The Windrush Valley Prep School has an outstanding pedigree and track record of excellence and high achievement. The teachers and pupils are proud to be part of the success. Our successes span all aspects of the school, including academically, sporting and the performing arts.  Our successes are corroborated by our pupil’s levels of success in their SATs and English Speaking Board results. The results of which contributed to the school being ranked in the top 30 best independent preparatory schools in England by the Sunday Times. This ranking placed us as the Best Prep School in Oxfordshire.  In addition, the school has received an award for Excellence by the Independent School Association.

Children compete in public speaking competitions from an early age, learn to play the recorder, have the opportunity to learn other instruments and play in the school band, and perform in musicals on stage.

Our competitive sporting pedigree has resulted in children competing at the highest level in swimming, athletics and cross country.

From a wider aspect, our objective is to prepare girls and boys aged 3-11 for a successful future in either the independent or state secondary school sectors. Over the last 25 years all pupils have passed their senior school entry examination and attended their chosen secondary school.
