Our Wondertots stay-and-play sessions are back for the 2026–27 academic year – and this year’s line-up is our most exciting yet. Wondertots is completely free and open to all families in the community: your child does not need to be enrolled in our Nursery to come along.
Each half term, little ones and their parents or carers are invited to a themed morning of story sessions, outdoor fun and arts and crafts at Windrush Valley Prep School and Nursery in Ascott-under-Wychwood.
The 2026–27 session dates
- Wednesday 14th October 2026 – People Who Help Us: Real Superheroes
- Wednesday 2nd December 2026 – Winter Wonderland: Stick Man by Julia Donaldson
- Wednesday 3rd February 2027 – Fairytales: A mixture of classic stories
- Wednesday 10th March 2027 – Spring & Easter: We’re Going on an Egg Hunt by Martha Mumford
- Wednesday 5th May 2027 – Under the Sea: Sharing a Shell by Julia Donaldson
- Wednesday 30th June 2027 – Down on the Farm: What the Ladybird Heard by Julia Donaldson
The essentials
Sessions run from 9.30am to 10.45am at our school in Ascott-under-Wychwood. All pre-school children aged 2–4 years are very welcome, accompanied by a parent or carer. Every session is free of charge – simply book your place in advance.
