Coronavirus Won’t Beat Us
It’s that time of the year, when parents are looking for a new school for their children. It’s an important decision. Therefore, we’re determined that Coronavirus is not going to get in our way of helping parents decide whether Windrush Valley Private School Oxfordshire is the school for their children. That’s why the Headteacher, Mrs Amanda Douglas, is giving all prospective new parents an opportunity to talk face-to-face, albeit, by video.
New admission enquirers will be able to talk with Mrs Douglas on a one-to-one video call to discuss all aspects of the school and ask any questions. Parents can book a video call by visiting our Video Call page or by calling 01993 831793.
Pupil videos
During ‘normal’ times new parents would be invited to tour the school and meet some of its pupils. Given the current circumstances this is not possible. Therefore, the school has also uploaded to its website, a series of videos featuring some of its pupils in which they talk about their experiences at the school and share some of their favourite aspects.
Amanda Douglas, Headteacher, commented, “These are difficult times for everyone but we’re determined Coronavirus won’t beat us. Normally this is the time of the year when parents explore new schools and make important decisions about their children’s education. That’s why we’re pleased to announce this video calling initiative. Prospective parents will be able to chat with me about all aspects of the school. Having recently been ranked in the top 50 best private schools in England, I’m really excited about using video calling to share some of the amazing things that we’re doing at Windrush Valley.”
