History and Location
Windrush Valley School was founded in 1951. It now occupies a traditional Victorian village school building, which closed in 1986, in the picturesque and tranquil Cotswold village of Ascott-under-Wychwood.
The school is close to the local church and village green, and it provides a central focus for the whole community. Windrush Valley School participates fully in village life and benefits from a good number of local amenities, including the village hall and sports field. The intake of children is from the village and surrounding rural villages within a 10 mile radius.
